Zeiss, the price of weapons and armor in Holtburg are skyrocketing right now because of the war. So expect to pay premium for even a normal shortbow.

This is true, it will probably be fairly expensive. The +2 material isn't too terribly expensive, although like Essoje said, I wouldn't be surprised if you pay out the nose for it.

Just a FYI: the main difference between a shortbow and a longbow (aside from the damage) is that you can not use a longbow while mounted but you can use a shortbow while you are mounted. Just letting you know since you're sometimes riding around.

Then Arch, could you give me the price for a shortbow and a longbow? Then the price for these same weapons with a +1 and +2 bonus to damage? Thank you.

Well crap. Stuck with my steel battleaxe and chittick armor for now. That I've had since I bought stuff in Al-Erat. Actually...hmm, can't remember if the battleaxe was loot or if I spent gold for it.

Realizing I'm gonna have to rely on session summaries when writing my next journal entry. Ooh, I still need to update the species' list with Scions.

I just can't tell anymore unless it's written down somewhere, did we take care of the weaving stuff? Did we find time for that?

Hold up, do you mean +1/+2 Material, or the magically enchanted bonuses?

I'll do my best to finish up the Weaving while I wait for a response from Kez. Something to keep in mind is that the rolls are significantly easier if you can acquire materials beforehand. I'm not sure if that would be any easier or cheaper than just buying what you want but it is something to keep in mind.

Well.

A Copper Shortbow, after your haggling rolls, you can find for about 250g.  A Copper Longbow, plain, for around 600g.

A Bronze Shortbow (+1 Material) is going to go for about 440g.
Bronze Longbow (+1 Material): 1050g.

Iron Shortbow (+2 Material): 1250g
Iron Longbow (+2 Material): 3000g

For any Enchanted bonuses, add 2000g for +1, 8000g for +2.

Frog legs are a delicacy on the coastline of Vesayen. And not from small frogs, I mean the big ones. Think fried frog legs the size of a chicken drumstick.

I got to help kill one person, but I'm still glad we got to fight again. Just worried about what's going to happen to the people in the town. If Fierneceal proves or testifies that she was in full control of her mental faculties, Rory will view her latest deed as reckless and borderline psychotic("madness" as he'd understand it), especially considering the lives she put in danger.

Edit : journal updated Arch. Start reading from the 23th for the new stuff. Hope you find it at least interesting. I mostly wanted to explain what was going on through Zeiss' mind in the last session. Now, I have to form some new evil plans.

You were left to guard the prisoners while everyone else went back in to the town to deal with the dragoon. We found him, tried to fight him a bit, Fiernaceal got taken down about 2-3 times because he knows she's a Psion, and then he flew off into the sky and disappeared. Meanwhile, Fier has gone berserk after summoning a growing electrical storm which is now threatening to destroy us and likely the whole town if it gets much bigger. She's not responding to anyone right now, so we're all about to take off before it gets much worse. The storm is also centering itself over Higs and circling him, so there's that as well.

I imagine from your perspective, everyone ran off and then a few minutes later this large electrical storm appeared and started growing.

Did the Tusker who let us out to deal with Fierneceal mention any storm or weather phenomenon?

It'd be great if we could meet up with Gretta again, cuz the only thing Rory remembers--and this is was also OOC--is "Firebeard", and he doesn't recall her saying what her clan name was.

Not that I recall. I asked if this was similar to the thing in the Tusker/Human city, but the answer was "no".

It wouldn't be the same without Sorangath. He comes up with things I would never consider as a player. Plus I like having someone around who consults with my mage for advice.
