So Arch, two things. First, you remember about that problem with the Skyclaw Warship video that wouldn't play? Well, I can play it, but only in Google Chrome. My cellphone, my PS3, my Wii U and Firefox just load it endlessly. I think it's a problem with my version of Flash Player interacting with the video's file format. Not the first time something like this happened. *sighs*

Breaking News About my Availability Concerning Currently Active Campaigns
And Campaigns That May Become Active in the Future

So I just hefted my PC to my cousin, who is going to maybe fix a problem I've been having with it for weeks. Something graphics related, I think, playing some flash games crashes it to shutdown, and with Stick of Truth(game available on Steam) being the problem child. Within minutes of game start or save load, crash to "off". As you can deduce from first-hand memory, Ventrilo, google docs, browsing the internet, and generally not running flash is okay. This has happened with other Steam games, but with way more playtime before the Doom, or no Doom at all.

My hope is that something got fried/busted or isn't working properly, so that I can simply just take it back from my cousin tomorrow or Monday-Tuesday-ish and hang onto it until he gets the replacement part needed. If he can fix it without parts, or has to do some non-parts replacement fixing on the side, I may need to leave it with him for a period of time that may include a Thursday. If that's the case, hopefully I can come to an agreement with the people who use this PC(this-exact-PC-I-am-visiting-this-site-online-from-and-typing-this-post) to let me assume control on Thursdays between 5-10pm(CST). They're nice people, they'll understand.

In the meantime, I seem to have forgotten to cut/paste all the text documents I wanted to type in, to pass time, plus my password list, from my "Flash Drive Files" folder to my USB flash drive. Had to reset to get back in here. Life will be boring for a while...but at least I bought a handheld console before all this. On the other bright side, my cousin is attempting to reboot his private PC protection & maintenance services.

Well good news is I've managed to get their permission for the time slot beforehand and installed the Vent client just in case. I've got the information for Third's server entered, Vent loads up just fine, and I'll be able to plug in the other stuff I use when I whisk the laptop away in my private "quarters" for the sessions. Hurray!

So this is funny. This commercial on the radio plays to advertise an acne treatment that the people who made ProActive say is better than their own product. This commercial has been active on the radio for weeks now. What is the name of this product superior to the self-proclaimed #1 acne treatment in the nation?

ProActive Plus. ... You'd think they'd follow up with "don't take our word for it" testimonies, but they don't, just more "this really does work, trust us". TOTAL VALIDATION

Ah Ethos, the appeal to authority/reputation. I'm honestly surprised they doubled down on the rep argument.

Argument 1: Once upon a time we made a great product so you can totally trust us.

Argument 2: Since our last product was so great this new one must be even better because argument 1.

Not something I would have expected from a professional advertiser. Basically the brand is now more important than the product. That never bodes well for priority or quality in the long run.

I just thought it was funny, because they didn't mention brand X until they said "it's better than brand X", and I was like, "ooh, shots fired!" Then they said the name and I was like, "no, really?"
