Konrad looks down at Yen for a moment. "Enough grim talk, all of you. We've got this, alright? We can keep the chief safe, and we can defeat that wolf before it even touches us. And if I'm wrong about that, we'll still be able to pick all the forandor leaves we can drink!"

Steve answers Mihai so everyone can hear. "I know what I'm asking Mihai, it doesn't change the fact that there will be nothing stopping the wolf from getting to any of us. This is tactics 101. Armsman up front, mages and archers in the back. It doesn't matter if the beast is mad or not. I'm not getting ripped to shreds while everyone pussyfoots around this."
To Konrad he says, "Saying we've got it isn't a plan Konrad. Maybe you'd take this more seriously if you had bothered to be there with your team instead of playing baker here in town."

- I'm not mad at you guys, Steve is mad at the rest of his party. Well, I'm a little miffed over Konrad not coming but not yell worthy or anything. I just don't like it when people split the party to do dangerous stuff and someone stays behind to do other stuff.
Anyway, I'm just trying to shake things up a little and get some RP in.

Velstar is making Igor drink something, while Irving helps him sit up so he doesn't choke on the strange green beverage. Yen has stopped hugging Fedler, and she looks at the party with attention, while Saemon doesn't know know if he should interfere. Fedler is nonplussed by all that, since it appears she still has something on her mind.

Anyway, I'm just trying to shake things up a little and get some RP in.
Konrad watches Mihai leave, as if to call him back, and would have. His smile has become transparent, a sheen of propriety over a murky pool of water. "Noted, Steve. Let me get back to you on that. Chef? Fedler?"
He snaps his fingers to try and get her attention. He wants her attention, he's going to get it first before he continues - he'll snap his fingers, repeat her name, wave his hand in front of her face, repeat her name louder, and if she hasn't responded by then, he'll grab her by the shoulders and give her a firm shake.
Let me know if all of this fails and we can proceed from there, otherwise...
"Steve and Mihai both have it right, we'll need a few armored people at the front with me and Saemon - looking at your militia, chief. Whatever we have in the way of ranged support, we'll take full advantage of it, as Mihai described. Both of you, when will your people be ready? We're going to do this today."

Fedler responds immediately to her name, and listens carefully to the plan.
"...You know we hired you to take the hits, right?"
Saemon sighs, then explains:
"Leather armor is the best we have. And assuming my people even agreed to face down a cursed wolf, do you really want to take the risk of them fleeing in the middle of battle? It would be a challenge just to convince them to fight against normal human beings." He thinks for a moment, then adds,"Just before the battle starts, I could cast Shell on you. That would take some of the damage."
As soon as Mihai steps outside the city hall, he is surrounded by a crowd of people bombarding him with questions. "Is the wolf going to attack the village!? What happened back there? Is anyone injured? How about Igor? Will he live, die? Can Silver even cure him!? When are you going to kill the wolf?", and many other questions.

Mihai tries not to look annoyed, so he answers in order.
"I doubt it. We were attacked while gathering herbs. No. His hand's still gone. Live. Yes. Soon."
Then he goes back inside.
He's gonna look for something he can write with, and on, preferably in big fat letters (finger painting on the wall will do too).

The villagers having forgotten in which order the questions were asked, they simply ask them again to a fleeing Mihai.
Apart from the others, he searches for anything to write with, but this building being the city hall, there's nothing besides numerous benches, a lector, and Velstar's alchemy station. Yen, seemingly bored with the discussion the others are currently having, decides to approach Mihai.
"What are you looking for?"

She smiles to Mihai, happy that he shares her opinion about this whole discussion.

- Mihai and Yen will now have a private conversation. Some time discrepancies will occur, but I'll tell you when you're caught up with each other and allowed to interact again. Mihai and Yen are on the other side of the big room, so Steve and Konrad cannot hear them.
- For Mihai only:
- Mihai gets down to one knee, and ushers Yen to come a bit closer so they can talk in relative privacy. She looks around for a second, then approaches the young man.
"Back there, before we went to gather the herbs, you were really worried, weren't you?" asks Mihai.

A look of concern appears on her face. "...Yeah. I've heard scary stories about the Cursed when they go mad."
Mihai continues. "You know, some people recently came here, looking for someone. A very tiny person, who's rather unique. They wanted me to bring her back to them, but I'm not very inclined toward kidnapping. Especially, after she's saved my life." He looks directly at Yen's bag. "We haven't been properly introduced, by the way. My name is Mihai, but you can call me moron."
Yen says nothing, but the expression on her face tells Mihai that she is anxious. Nothing happens for a few seconds, until a small head with blue hair sticks out of one side of the bag. She blinks at the young man, uncertain how to react. "...You're really not going to turn me over to the mean lady?"
"No. And i can probably bring Steve around, but Konrad might be a problem. And either way, Marie's people are still around, and i know them - they're not fools. So keep your head down for now."
"I'm super good at hiding. Me and Yen, we got this. But the wolf..." She searches for words. "I think it's looking for me."
"Yeah, it must be all that elemental energy," concurs Mihai. "The Madness must make it like a moth to a flame. You handled yourself pretty well, though."
She looks at him with disconcerting eyes. "Huh? The wolf isn't mad. Can't you tell?"
Mihai twitches, "What do you mean?"
"It's not mad, you dummy." She looks a lot more relaxed now, and has brought her arms out of the bag to add some body language to her words. "I can tell. You saw it too. It didn't attack you or Yen's aunt, it just stopped."
Fedler's her aunt!? he thinks, then replies "I...thought that was you distracting it. Far as i know, it's been leaving a trail of death ever since Fedler discovered its dead cubs a few days ago. Heck, I've seen its handiwork myself." He considers for a second. "Either there's something else out there, or it didn't attack us specifically. But if it's not Mad, then what is it then?"
"Breeze, are you sure?" asks Yen. "It sounds like it's mad to me." The little creature rolls her eyes. "It's not mad. I don't know why it's here, but it's a good thing Yen sent me when she did." She smiles, proud of herself. "It couldn't even catch up to me."
Mihai chuckles. "Alright, get back in there before someone sees you." He then asks Yen, "Is there another way out of this building?"
Breeze gives you a thumbs up, then goes back into the bag. Yen looks up to you. "...You really are a dummy. There's a door right there." She points to the back of the building, and smiles.
"Gimme a break, it's been a long day," says Mihai in light tone.
"Aren't you going to tell the others? That it's not mad?" wonders the little girl.

"That's fine with me, just so long as we are thinking about safety. In fact, any way to delay the wolf or keep it pinned down at all would help everyone with their jobs.
Actually...Konrad, everyone, how skilled are you are at Weaving? I've never had the talent for it but I may have an idea. We need a way to distract it, right? How about some small noise makers? Maybe with a flash? Something to confuse the beast basically. And something that doesn't have to enter its nimbus to be effective. It's not much, but it may buy our team precious time."

He tells her, "Let me do the talking", to which she nods.
Fedler looks up at Konrad.
"The wolf. Its flares of magic couldn't fell all the trees in its way; only those with a thin trunk." She says this, as if what she implied was obvious.
At this time, Mihai has come back to the group with Yen on his tow.
- Fedler's age:
- Fedler seems to be somewhere in her late twenties, though it is difficult to be sure because of her small stature and youthful facial features.
- For Konrad:
- She has been a lot more calm since Yen arrived.

- Before that, she seemed to be in shock of what she had just experienced in the forest. For a while, she was a little out of it, like if it was difficult for her to focus.
