Realizing that riding into town with the Guardian's equipment could be construed poorly by the locals, Gwydo decides that hiding the treasure for the immediate future would probably be in the best interests for the group.

Putting the gold in his sack, he tells Whis Kor, Javan, Tabran, Rellan of his plan.
"We'll bury the arms and armor here in the desert. We're far enough away from the town and the corpses that it should be safe for the time being. We'll bury it and come back for it later, once we're either leaving town or the townsfolk accept that Harkun was a traitor."

Caladius to the healer “I promise you I will do everything I can to stop whatever is happening; you need to trust me. Prepare for the attack, but do not provoke one, become a source of inspiration for the town, become the healer that the town needs you to be. "Uh huh." You can tell the Orc doesn't believe you at all, but he doesn't press the issue. "Well unfortunately for your greedy purses I'm afraid that I hadn't even had a chance to send off to the Guildhead for clarification on the situation yet. And with the current lock down, since everyone's terrified that a Sho company is going to come stomping over the desert sands at us, I can't send for it now." He adjusts his glasses. "When things die down a bit to the point where Post isn't restricted anymore, however, I will send as soon as I'm able."

Caladius not seeing Evanar at the inn surmises that he might be at the Guild. Once he arrives he catches up on the information at hand. “I have just had a chat with the towns healer, the gnolls are not responsible for Harkun death. The means are beyond anyone abilities. The healer expects an attack soon, and I agree, I think it is time to recall all guild member to defend the town.”

The Orc looks up at Caladrius, a bit of a bemused expression on his lips. "So because you killed Harkun, you are now perpetuating this lie about the Sho 'invasion'," he adds with tangible sarcasm, "and want me to recall members to help defend? Well," he laughs, "even if I didn't know you were lying, unfortunately for you, this Guild hall has not much else to add other than your wonderful party. Myself, three adjutants... and that's it."

Kezrinthka returns in Common, "The pleasure is mine, Gwydo. It pleases me that you were not put off by my request to meet with you. I had feared that with all of the unrest in town you might have feared ambush. Where may I ask is the rest of your group?"

Raver looks irritated. But accepted his worry. He turns and spoke to the orc once more. "Also... The Gnolls are innocent. Harkun tricked them into signing a treaty where they would be villified. They are willing to give reperations if you would allow them into the farms. The proof is with my companion here."

Raver turns to Zeiss to let him show the document.

As he sits at the table, Rory eyes the insect warily, shaking each time he witnesses slight movements of each appendage. His mind feels like it's covered by something slimy to the touch. He nearly wretches, and eagerly grabs for the ale when it reaches the table.
