First Adventure 05: Licking Wounds Amongst Party & Allies

After a final, paranoid check the stairs do appear to be safe, if a bit cracked in places from the earth shaking that had been going on. Higaide makes it to the bottom and opens the door to find several Gnolls and Kobolds rushing about with medical supplies and tools. They seem to be in quite a rush, and as you stand there befuddled for a few moments more come pouring through from one wing to the other, and others going the other way. Quite a bit of activity.

"Oh, what the hell now!" Whis Kor barks, making his way down to the open door. He watches the traffic go by for a moment and then tries to catch the attention of the nearest one.

Ashakel is actually relieved to see the Gnolls and Kobolds. "Where are you leaders? We need to ask for a place to rest for the night." he asks no one specifically.

*turns to associates*

"Something's wrong."

*Goes inside. Tries to stay out of the Gnolls' way and makes for the matriarch's chamber*

One of the Gnolls on a return journey pauses to look at the Sclavi.

Whis Kor shrugs and turns to back to the rest of the party.

"Translator?"

"the fight topside has been causing there caves to collapse"

As Rory descends the stairs, he is surprised to see the Kobolds and Gnolls under stress. Trying to reach the matriarch by Higaide's side, he too dodges Kobolds left and right.

"How did it happen? Was this the result of what Leafsong did?" he asks, genuinely inquisitive.

Caladrius He says "Apologies, we are still somewhat busy mending the damage and looking for survivors. I... don't suppose the quakes have stopped?"

looks at the Gnoll, and asks in undercommon

Higaide and Rory both fail miserably at staying hidden, as they dodge the remaining workers and healers tending wounded on both sides. After flagging one down they learn that Gnawbone and the Matriarch are both in one of the side storehouses, assisting in rescue attempts.

*Doesn't finish the sentence. They WILL find out soon enough anyway.*

"They'll likely trade medical supplies for help with the earthquake; ask."

Caladrius "He said: 'The boss and the Matriarch lady are off in one of the storage rooms, one of the last places we're checking for survivors. Left, right, then left again and you should finds it.'"

After a moment, Caladrius says "I am going to find the Matriarch, anyone is welcome to join me"

"Quickly then!" The troll follows Caladrius, looking not to trample any kobolds.

Rory attempts to track down the matriarch, following on Higaide's tail if he intends to do the same.

Caladrius a little more cautious looks for signs of earthquake damage along the way

Whis Kor sighs, picks up his shield, and begins moving, following the company members that suddenly dashed away.
